Brad Whitlock focuses his practice on representing small and mid-size
business clients. He has experience in a wide variety of business transactions,
including mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity securities financings,
company formation, contracts, employment matters, corporate governance
issues and a broad variety of other legal arrangements and agreements.
In many instances he serves as an outside general counsel for his clients,
helping them with both business and legal issues. He has handled matters
ranging from simple transactions involving a few thousand dollars to
complex deals worth many millions. He has been very involved in the drafting
of many Texas business statutes and is a frequent speaker on corporate
law topics.
Prior to joining Scheef & Stone he was a partner at a major Dallas-based
law firm and served as general counsel for a privately held Dallas-based
manufacturing company.
