Practice Emphasis

Mr. Lein practices in all areas of intellectual property law, including patent litigation and prosecution.  Mr. Lein has experience representing clients in areas of foreign and domestic intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. Mr. Lein has also prepared various patent infringement and invalidity opinions, as well as drafted motions, briefings, and license agreements.

Mr. Lein works primarily on patent litigation matters involving a variety of technologies, including mechanical and electrical devices and computer systems.  His representation includes mechanical, electrical, and business methods, such as wireless telecommunications, internet communications, electronics equipment, computer hardware, software systems, mobile phone applications, telecommunications equipment, blown film extrusion, and powder metallurgy.

During law school, Mr. Lein served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Irma C. Ramirez of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
